Version 8.1.0

User Search on Grades Assignment Screen Sorting Results by User ID Number Instead of User Name (3077)

Previously the user search on the Grades Assignment screen was incorrectly sorting search results by the user identification number instead of by last and first name.

This has been corrected and the user search on the Grades Assignment screen now sorts search results by user last name and user first name as intended.  

Custom Grade Reports Returning Multiple Grade Results for Pending Users (4433)

Previously custom grade reports run on users with a course status of Pending would return multiple grade results where it should return none.

This has been corrected. Grade reports now correctly return no results for users with a course status of Pending.

Error When Attempting to View the Course Completion Report Printable Version or Microsoft Excel (4434)

Previously when clicking on Printable Version or Microsoft Excel from within the Course Completion Report the system would give an error.

This has been corrected and clicking on Printable Version and Microsoft Excel no longer give errors. Instead, the Printable Version and Microsoft Excel screens are now properly displayed.

Incorrect Information in Report (4560)

Previously, when results were returned for Matching type questions in the Question Detail Report, erroneous data was displayed instead of the correct answer information.

This issue has been resolved.

Fields on the Course Schema Screen Not Effecting Courses (4651)

Previously many items and fields in the Course Basics, Course Additional and Session Basics sections of the Course Schema screen were not having an effect on the course settings when altered.

This has been corrected and all changes on the Course Schema screen will now affect courses.

Shared Reports Not Displaying Course Names with Display Flag Enabled (4681)

Previously when running a shared report that displays a list of users, the name of courses would not be displayed when the Display Flag was enabled.

This has been corrected and shared reports that displays lists of users will now properly display course names when the Display Flag is enabled.

Achievement Requirement Group Names Changed Erroneously (4692)

Previously, the names of groups of achievement requirements for copied LearnTracks changed when the names of the groups were changed in the original LearnTrack.

This issue has been resolved.

Credit Hours Decimal Places Truncated (4891)

Previously, when numbers that included decimals were entered in the Course Credit Hours field on the Course Additional screen, the number of decimal places was truncated to one upon saving.

This issue has been resolved. The Course Credit Hours field can now holds up to two numbers after the decimal.

Blank Drop-down on Course Management: Add New Course Screen (4921)

Previously administrators would see the Delivery Provider Name drop-down list as blank, when they did not have a delivery provider assigned to the course.

This has been corrected. Administrators will now see a warning that reads “No selection available” instead of a blank drop-down list.

Year List Under Month and Day Lists (5429)

An issue with the Start Date and End Date drop-down lists being displayed incorrectly on the criteria selection screens for the Instructional Media, Individual, and Cost Per Student reports has been resolved.

Cannot Translate Survey Term (5486)

The term “Survey” as it appears in the title bar of a survey pop-up window could not be translated as it was not associated with an NLT.

You can now use NLTs 508 (associated with the term “Survey”) and 742465 (associated with the term “Survey password”) to translate or otherwise alter this language within surveys.

Commas beside Instructor Screen (5511)

Previously, commas were erroneously displayed beside the names of Instructors on learning activity information screens.

This issue has been resolved.

Breadcrumb Trail Incorrectly Displayed (3258)

Previously, the breadcrumb trail that is typically displayed at the top of the assessment question configuration screen was incorrectly displayed to the far right if a space was left after the last character in the Question (English) text box.

This issue has been resolved.

Version 8.1.1

Users’ Competencies not Updated (6904)

Previously, when a user successfully achieved a competency, the information associated with this achievement was not updated in the Competencies sub-menu of their achievement records or in the Competencies left-hand side menu item in their Admin mode profiles.

This issue has been resolved.

Price not Updated after Fee Code Changes (6978)

When pricing for an existing fee code associated with an E-Commerce-enabled learning activity was updated, the total price of the learning activity was not updated to reflect the change.

This did not apply to adding or deleting a fee code.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when a fee code is updated, the total cost of the learning activity is updated to reflect the change.

Content Preview Displays Settings (6980)

Previously, when External URL was selected as a session’s online content type and the Preview button was clicked from the Course Content screen, the Course Settings preview was displayed instead of the Course Content preview.

This issue has been resolved.

Fee Codes Updated in all Sessions (6981)

Previously, when fee codes for E-Commerce-enabled courses containing more than one session were updated, the updates were applied across all communities in all sessions created using the Save As New button.

This issue has been resolved. Now, fee code updates apply only to the session in which it was updated.

Session Information not Available in Course Preview (6982)

An issue with the session information not being displayed when the Preview Course Settings left-hand side menu item was selected has been resolved.

Text Grades Displayed as Percentage Grades (6983)

Previously, courses assigned text type grades viewed from the LearnTracks sub-menu of users’ achievement records were displayed with percentage type grades instead.

This issue has been resolved.

Fee Codes Deleted from all Course Sessions (6984)

When fee codes were deleted from either an original course session or any sessions created using the Save As New button, the same fee code was deleted from all associated sessions.

This issue occurred to only those sessions associated with the Save As New functionality.

This issue has been resolved.

Report Builder Fields English Only (5302)

Previously, regardless of the language selected for the administrators profile and even though other language values were available, only the English values for the following Report Builder fields were displayed in report results that used them:

·        Course Title

·        Course Description

This issue has been resolved.

No Appointment with Manager Approved Enrollment Messages (7547)

Previously, enrollment messages sent after manager approval was granted did not contain Microsoft Outlook appointment attachments even though the Send Outlook ICS Attachments option was enabled for users’ communities.

This issue has been resolved. Enrollment messages sent as the result of a manager granting approval now contain appointment attachments when this option is active for the user’s community.

Cancellation Messages not Sent to Users (7366)

Previously, those cancellation messages sent when an instructor cancelled users out of a learning activity from the Grades Assignment screen went only to the instructor, but not to the affected users.

This issue has been resolved. Cancellation messages are now sent to users and their administrators or instructors to advise them of the change of status in the learning activity.

Incorrect Competency Date Format (7367)

An issue with dates displayed only in the MM/DD/YYYY format when viewing the Competencies screen in users’ profiles in Admin mode has been resolved.

Now, the dates on the Competencies screen are now displayed according to the date format selected in Client Setup.

Incorrect Session Request Dates and Times (7368)

Previously, when users with imported accounts attempted to submit a session request the date and time displayed as 10:00am of the previous day upon submission.

This issue has been resolved.

Error Displayed when Changing Status (7370)

Previously, an error was displayed when an administrator attempted to change a user’s status within a learning activity from Enrolled to Manager Approval.

This issue has been resolved.

Version 8.1.6

Configurable Manager Approval Messages not Received (6666)

Previously, if a user did not have a primary email address, configurable manager approval messages were not sent to either the user’s or the user’s reporting manager’s email or message centres.

This issue has been resolved.

Timeout Errors when Registering (7581)

An issue with time out errors occurring when administrators attempted to select courses with multiple sessions from registration management has been resolved.

Cannot Access Printable Versions of Grades Administration Pages (6268)

Previously, when the printable version of any page of the Grades Administration screen was accessed, only the results for the first page were displayed.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when accessing the printable version of any page from the grades administration screen, the results for the selected screen are displayed.

Transcript Headers Incorrectly Displayed (7164)

Previously, the headers Code and Type in users’ transcripts were reversed, as such, the learning activity type was displayed below the Code header and the learning activity code was displayed below the Type header.

This issue has been resolved.

Inactive User Enrollments (7714)

An issue with inactive users being enrolled in LearnTracks when the Maintenance Routine was run has been resolved.

Cannot Select Specific Province During Checkout (7773)

Previously, users were unable to select Australian Capital Territory as a province from the Billing Information screen displayed when purchasing learning activities.

This issue has been resolved.

Cannot Enable Attendance Marking (7774)

Previously, when an administrator attempted to save the Session Basics screen after checking the Enable Attendance Marking box, the value was saved and attendance marking was enabled, but the box displayed as unchecked.

This issue has been resolved.

Portuguese Headers not Displayed (7775)

Previously, when administrators created new headers while Portuguese was selected as their main language in LearnFlex, the new header was not displayed upon saving.

This issue has been resolved.

Catalogues not Available (7777)

Previously, catalogues were not displayed when viewing the Catalogues view of the Courses/Registration menu in user mode.

This occurred even when Enforce Job Positions was disabled for the courses within the catalogues.

This issue has been resolved.

Login Permitted after Reaching Number of Failed Attempts (7781)

Previously, when LearnFlex was configured to use Advanced Authentication and to deny users access after a specified amount of login attempts, users were still able to attempt logging in.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when the above configuration is in place, users are presented with a "login denied'' message when they have surpassed the amount of permitted login attempts.

Version 8.1.10

LearnFlex is English only when Logging in using SSO (7900)

Previously, when users logged into LearnFlex using single sign-on (SSO) and security assertion markup language (SAML) together, LearnFlex was displayed in English even though a different language was selected within their profiles.

This issue has been resolved. Upon login using SSO and SAML, LearnFlex is displayed in the language selected in the user’s profile.

Region Filter not Applied for Automatic Registration (7922)

Previously, the Region audience filter was not taken into account when users were automatically registered into LearnTracks.

This issue has been resolved.

Version 8.1.12

Error Upon Login (7047)

Upon login, errors were displayed to users whose cohorts had access to the following security settings:

·        72: Links

·        581: Custom Upload

·        582: Custom Upload Create

This issue has been resolved.

Error upon Re-enrollment (7178)

An issue with errors being displayed when users attempted to re-enroll in courses within LearnTracks configured to allow re-enrollments has been resolved. Users can now successful re-enroll in these bundled courses.

Report Builder Fields English Only (7548)

Previously, regardless of the language selected for the administrators profile and even though other language values were available, only the English values for the following Report Builder fields from the LearnTrack Content object were displayed in report results that used them:

·        Default Title

·        Title

This issue has been resolved.

Errors when Closing Courses (7668)

Previously, when users finished a SCORM course, instead of being redirected to their learning plans, the screen would either continuously refresh or an error was displayed.

This issue has been resolved.

Cannot Preview Assessments (7827/7948)

Previously, when administrators attempted to preview assessments, the preview window launched, but froze without starting the preview.

This issue has been resolved.

No Login Feedback Displayed (7838/7949)

An issue with the login screen not displaying feedback when a user has entered their user name or password incorrectly has been resolved.

Version 8.1.13

Achievements Lost After Import (7825)

Previously, user achievements were removed after import due to the import file not assigning completion identification.

This issue has been resolved.

Incorrect Expiry Date (7980)

Previously, the years in competency expiry dates were incorrectly displayed in users’ achievement records as far in the future instead of according to the number of months until expiry as per the competency’s configuration.

Errors Displayed when Saving Tests (7993)

An issue with errors being displayed when tests were saved using the Save As New option in the Action drop-down list has been resolved.
 

Version 8.1.14

Alerts Failing (8093)

An issue with the Alerts job (the process responsible for message delivery within LearnFlex) failing has been resolved.

Resources not Found in Search Results (8103)

Previously, when the French information about a resource was the last information about the resource to be saved, only the French information about the resource was displayed to English users when they searched using the Global Search menu.

Additionally, when the English information about the resource was the last to be saved, French users could not locate the resources using either its French or English title or keywords.

This issue has been resolved.

Custom Field Data Deleted After Import (8106)

Previously, the data entered in account custom fields was deleted when the user import ran with no data specified for those fields in the import file.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when no data is specified for custom fields in the user import file, the existing data within those fields will remain after the import is run. If you want to delete the data within custom fields through the import process, you must create a blank entry within the file for those fields whose data you want to delete.

Version 8.1.15

Incorrect Amount of Session Hours in Report (7526)

Previously, the Course Summary Report erroneously calculated the number of session hours by multiplying by the number of sessions and users, rather than by multiplying the number of hours for each session by the number of users enrolled, then adding those totals together.

This issue has been resolved.

Session Duration Inconsistencies (8056)

In order to align the Default Duration field on the Session Basics screen with the Duration field in users’ Grades Assignment screens, the Default Duration field for sessions now supports decimals and numeric values up to and including 999.99.

SCORM Courses not Launching (8170)

An issue with ElementK SCORM courses not moving beyond the loading screen upon launch has been resolved.

Account Creation Error (8290)

Previously, an error was displayed when users attempted to create new accounts during the process of purchasing learning activities.

This issue has been resolved.

No Account Deactivation Notification (8292)

Previously, when accounts were deactivated after the number of failed login attempts permitted had been exceeded, no feedback was displayed to inform users that their account had been deactivated upon returning to the login screen and attempting to login again.

This issue has been resolved.

Version 8.1.16

Cannot Relaunch Test (8343)

Previously, tests configured with a maximum number of attempts and pre- or post-content were not launching correctly when accessed after the first attempt.

This issue has been resolved.

Preview Counted as Assessment Attempts (8345)

Previously, when an administrator previewed an assessment configured with a maximum number of attempts, the preview was counted as an attempt. As such, the preview of the assessment could not be accessed again once the maximum number of attempts had been exceeded using the preview option.

This issue has been resolved.

Only First Day of Session Available in Calendar (8715)

Previously, appointment attachments for sessions that spanned more than one day were only applied to the first day of the session in Microsoft Outlook.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when multi-day appointment attachments are received, they are applied to each day of the session within Microsoft Outlook.

Incorrect Session Titles in Request Messages (8712)

When administrators approved or denied session requests within the All Courses view, the title of the session was incorrect in the messages sent to users.

This issue has been resolved.

Version 8.1.17

Transactions Settled Twice (6154)

Previously, some transactions that were in “Authorized” status in Skipjack when the AuditV2.exe application was run were displayed as being settled twice in Order Management.

This issue has been resolved. Now, Skipjack transactions in LearnFlex are displayed in the “Settled” status only once they are settled.

No Account Deactivation Notification (8292)

Previously, when accounts were deactivated after the number of failed login attempts permitted had been exceeded, no feedback was displayed to inform users that their account had been deactivated upon returning to the login screen and attempting to login again.

This issue has been resolved.

Incorrect Titles in Request Messages (8712)

Previously, responses administrators sent about session requests contained incorrect titles for the learning activities requested.

This issue has been resolved.

Only First Day of Session Available in Calendar (8715)

Previously, appointment attachments for learning activities that spanned more than one day were only applied to the first day of the session in Microsoft Outlook.Editing_Session_Details.htm

This issue has been resolved. Now, when multi-day appointment attachments are received, they are applied to each day the learning activity takes place within Microsoft Outlook.

Blank Screen After Selecting Accommodations (8567)

An issue with a blank screen being displayed after users made accommodation selections at the time of registration has been resolved.

This issue occurred only in Firefox.

Version 8.1.20

Errors on Course Launch (8346)

Previously, a 500 error was displayed when AICC content was uploaded to a course in multiple languages. This error was not displayed if the content was uploaded in only one language.

This issue has been resolved.

No Pages on Printable Version (8737)

An issue with the Printable Version of the Grades Administration screen displaying only a single page of results, instead of offering the option to select other pages, has been resolved.

Erroneous LearnTrack Enrollment (9013)

Previously, users were registered into LearnTracks when they registered into courses set as Master Courses for those LearnTracks, even though Auto enroll in LearnTrack when ILT is enrolled was not enabled.

This issue has been resolved.

Registration Date Format Incorrect (9056)

Previously, the date format in registration messages was incorrect which lead to the dates being entered into users’ calendar clients incorrectly.

This issue has been resolved.

Version 8.1.21

Cannot Re-Register for Prerequisites (7882)

Previously, if a user completed the first of any number of pre-requisite choices for a learning activity, they were able to register for that learning activity. If they completed any of the subsequent choices, they could not register.

This issue has been resolved. Now users can complete any of the choices in pre-requisites and successfully register for the learning activity requiring them.

Incorrect Message upon Registration (8258)

An issue with a LearnTrack cancellation message instead of a registration confirmation message being displayed upon registration into LearnTracks has been resolved.

New Session Request Status Field (8361)

In order to improve reports about session requests, the Session Request object in Report Builder now includes the “Status” as a field and criteria selection. This option will return the values “Approved” (for requests approved by an administrator) or “Denied” (for requests denied by an administrator).

User Import Creates Duplicate Users (8390)

Previously, instead of updating their accounts, the user import created duplicate accounts for existing users with apostrophes in their names.

This issue has been resolved.

Automatic Registration for New Accounts Created in Admin Mode (8436)

Previously, automatic registration into LearnTracks applied only when new user accounts were created using the account creation wizard or through an import.

Now, automatic registration into LearnTracks can also occur when new user accounts are created by an administrator in Admin mode.

Users Registered in Unpublished Sessions (8596 – Brad/Colin/Wen – in review)

An issue with users remaining registered in unpublished sessions when the pop-up window for the related message was closed without sending the message or no message was sent has been resolved.

Resources Displayed in Incorrect Language (8709) – Brad/Colin/Jackie – in review)

Previously, resources within the Links menu in User mode were displayed in the language in which the resource was last saved by an administrator rather than the language chosen by the user.

This issue has been resolved.

Incorrect Date Format (8954 – Pierre/Tracy/Jackie – in review)

Previously, the dates on users’ Grades Administration screen in both their profiles and the Grades Assignment menu, were displayed in the “MM/DD/YYYY” format even though a different date format was selected from the Client Setup screen.

Errors Displayed When Re-enrolling (8924)

Previously, errors were displayed when administrators attempted to re-enroll users in courses they had already completed using the Advanced Group Assignment screen.

This issue has been resolved.

Error in Manager Approval Searches (8934 – Kelly/Aaron/Sara)

An issue with Manager Approval searches resulting in an error has been resolved.

Time Stamps Incorrect on Transactions (9092)

Previously, date and time stamps on E-Commerce transactions were incorrect if the purchaser’s profile did not have a time zone selected.

This issue has been resolved.

Incorrect Date Format in Reminder Messages (9110)

Previously, the date in Personal Achievement Expiry reminder messages was displayed as “MM/DD/YYYY” even though a different date format was selected from the Client Setup screen.

Incorrect Date Format in What’s New Messages (9130)

Previously, the dates on the What’s New Messages screen were displayed in “MM/DD/YYYY” format, even though a different date format was selected from the Client Setup screen.

Cannot Create Multi-Language Answers (7849)

Previously, answers to questions in languages other than English could not be created for assessments.

This issue has been resolved.

Incorrect Value in Certification Progress Report (8166)

Previously, the % Expected column in the Certification Progress Report, incorrectly displayed the value “0” if a user completed the learning activity prior to the date expected for completion.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when a user completes the learning activity before the date expected, the value displayed is the correct percentage expected based on their registration date and the time allotted for completion.

Learning Activities not Displayed in Alphabetical Order (8775)

An issue with learning activities not being displayed in alphabetical order on the Grades Administration and Grades Assignment screens has been resolved.

Registration Messages Sent to Incorrect Users (8876)

Previously, when users purchased a learning activity, but did not have a Reporting Manager assigned to them, a registration email was erroneously sent to the first person in higher levels of the user’s Business Unit hierarchy who also had security setting 666: Manager enabled for their cohort.

This issue has been resolved. Now, when users do not have Reporting Managers assigned, no registration email is sent to a manager.

Bookmarks in SCORM Content not Saved (9299)

An issue saving bookmarks in SCORM content within LearnFlex, even though they could be saved correctly in the SCORM cloud, has been resolved.

Cannot Load Third Step in License Configuration (9003)

Previously, when administrators attempted to move to the third step while configuring licenses, the operation timed out and an error was displayed.

This issue has been resolved.

Course End Dates in Incorrect Format (9505)

An issue with learning activity end dates erroneously displaying in the MM/DD/YYYY format in course registration emails has been resolved.

Language Name Displayed Incorrectly (9063)

Previously, incorrect language names were displayed for text fields on the following screens:

Managers Receive Multiple Registration Messages (9145)

Previously, users and their managers who were assigned multiple business units received multiple registration messages when registering for learning activities.

This issue has been resolved.

Dates Displayed Incorrectly (9544)

Previously, dates on the E-Commerce Price Configuration screen were displayed in a format other than that selected from the Client Setup global settings screen when the configurations were edited by an administrator.

Cannot Save New LearnTrack with Special Characters (9849)

Previously, LearnTracks that included Chinese characters in the Title or Description fields on the LearnTrack Information screen could not be edited and saved as a new LearnTrack with all of the new information. When saved, the information in the new LearnTrack was truncated at the first field containing the Chinese characters.

This issue has been resolved.

Cannot Translate Message Centre Terms (9916)

Previously, some terms associated with the Message Centre did not have NLTs associated with them. Therefore, these terms could not be translated.
