Security Settings List

Note: If the User Manager security group does not have security granted, then only the Basic Information left-hand side for that user is displayed, with read-only fields. This affects both Admin and User modes.

·        73: Basic Information: Displays the Basic Information left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        74: Work Address: Displays the Work Address left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        75: Home Address: Displays the Home Address left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        76: Competencies: Displays the Competencies left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode, and the Competencies left-hand side menu in a user's profile in User mode.

·        77: Restrictions: Displays the Restrictions left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        78: Accounting Information: Displays the Accounting Information left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        79: Additional Information: Displays the Additional Information left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        80: Activation: Displays the Activation left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        92: Display Personal Achievements: Displays the Personal Achievements left-hand side menu for a user.

·        93: Cohort Membership: Displays the Cohort Membership left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        94: Course Administration: Displays the Course Administration left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        96: Business Units: Displays the Business Units left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        97: Add New User: Displays the Add New User left-hand side menu within the Users module.

·        118: Modify Imported Users Info: Profile information for imported users (can/cannot modify).

·        133: Competency View: Admin > Users > Competency View tab.

·        139: Add/Edit Personal Achievements: Displays the Save button when adding a personal achievement, and the Update and Delete buttons when editing or deleting a user's personal achievement.

·        202: Automatic login for assistance: Displays the Assistance left-hand side menu.

·        205: Bundle Administration: Displays the Bundle Administration left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        209: Public Account Creation: Admin > Users > Add New User.

·        212: Password Reset Button: Displays the Password Reset button in the following locations:

·        Basic Information in Admin mode

·        Basic Information in User mode

·        295: User Display of Custom Fields: Displays the Custom Fields left-hand side menu for a user's profile in User mode.

·        509: View/Change Grades: Displays the Grades Administration left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        541: Personal Achievement Additional: Displays the Category and Class drop-down lists, the Membership and Cost fields, and the Compensated check box when adding or editing a user's personal achievement in Admin mode. These fields are always displayed in User mode.

·        543: Manager Approve/Deny Buttons: When enabled, it does the following:

·        On the Manager Approval screen, displays (enables) the Approve and Deny check boxes for each record in the list, the Approve All/Deny All buttons at the bottom of the screen, Notifications check box, and the Save button.

·        On both the Course Administration and Bundle Administration screens for a user, displays the Approve and Deny buttons with the Course Manager Approval section (first section). It also displays the recommendation of the Level 1 manager (the administrator). When disabled, you can still see and check the Approve/Deny check boxes on the Course Administration and Bundle Administration screens for a user.

·        544: Manager Approve/Deny Check boxes: When enabled, does the following:

·        On the Manager Approval screen, displays the green check or red X icons. These indicate the recommendation of the administrator about the user’s enrollment in the learning activity.

·        On both the Course Administration and Bundle Administration screens, displays the Approve and Deny check boxes with the Manager Approval section (first section).

Note: If both security settings 543 and 544 security settings are checked, then the objects that are displayed on the respective screens depends on the type of user who is logged in, For example, managers will see buttons, and administrators will see check boxes.

·        566: Bundle Schedule: Displays the Bundle Schedule left-hand side menu for a user.

·        568: Bundle Schedule – Edit Button: Displays the Edit button on the Bundle Schedule screen.

·        593: Course Administration Cancel: Displays the Cancel button on the Course Administration screen.

·        594: Bundle Administration Cancel: Displays the Cancel button on the Bundle Administration screen.

·        595: Password Reset on Next Login: Displays the Password Reset on Next Login check box on the Activation screen in the Users module.

·        599: License Assignment: Displays the License Assignment left-hand side menu in the Users module in Admin mode.

·        630: Activation Keys User Profile Options: Displays the Requires Activation, Requires Secondary Key, and Requires Profile Confirmation check boxes on the Activation screen for a user.

·        646: Bundle Administration Delete: Displays the Delete button on the Bundle Administration screen.

·        666: Manager: Allows administrators to receive email notifications from managers regarding requests for approval.

·        669: User Import: Displays the User Import left-hand side menu within the Users module in Admin mode.

·        670: User Import Control File

·        671: User Import File Type

·        688: Resend Activation Email: Displays the Resend Activation Email button on the Activation screen.

·        698: Transcript: Displays the Transcript option for a selected user in Admin mode.

·        703: Allow Edit Grade: Assuming that security settings 698 and 719 are enabled, this  security object (703) allows you to edit a user’s grade from the Grades Administration and the Transcript screens, assuming that the course has been completed and a grade has already been entered. Additionally 703  allows you to manage attachments on the Grades Administration screen.

If not enabled, you can still enter private comments for the grade from either Grades Administration or from the user's transcript.  

·        709: Employment Status - View: Displays the Employment Status left-hand side menu in the Users module.  

·        710: Employment Status - Edit: Assuming that security setting 709: Employment Status - View (above) is enabled, then this allows you to edit their employment status information.

·        716: View All Attempts: Assuming that a user has attempted to complete a course at least once, displays the View All Attempts link in the Grades Administration module.

·        719: Edit Transcript Grades: Assuming the Transcript option is enabled, creates a link for a course name on the Transcripts screen.

·        739: Manager Approval External Training Requests: Displays the Request Type drop-down list on the Manager Approval Search screen, which allows you to filter manager approvals by request type (internal, external – pending request, and external – pending scheduling).

If enabled, an administrator can search for requests for sessions that do not exist using the external - pending request or external – pending schedule values. If not enabled, then a manager can search for only internal registrations that are pending approval.

·        756: User Catalogue Assign: Displays the Catalogue Assignment left-hand side menu in the Users module.

·        781: AD business unit integration

·        782: Daylight Saving Time: Displays the Daylight Saving Time drop-down list in the Users module.

·        798: Competency – View Generated ID: Displays the Certification ID column in the Competencies screen within users’ profiles in Admin mode.

·        818: Delivery Providers: Displays the Delivery Providers screen in the Users module.

·        819: Delivery Providers Administration: Displays the Delivery Provider Administrator box on the Basic Information screen.

·        863: Account Management: Displays the Account Management left-hand side menu.
