Introduction
Features, or featured learning activities, allow you to create a list of recommended learning activities (courses and LearnTracks) that are targeted towards a learner’s profile. These featured learning activities are displayed in a distinct section in the What’s New? menu, and the Catalogue and LearnTrack Registration sub-menus in User mode.
Note: Customizations to your branding are required to display this feature correctly. Contact your LearnFlex representative for details.
Each featured learning activity will show its title and description in the order specified in the featured learning activity configuration. Each title is a link that learners can click to 1) register in the learning activity, 2) if already enrolled, access their learning plan, or 3) if completed, view their achievement record.
If the featured learning activity is an enrolled course in a currently enrolled LearnTrack or if the course is completed and was a requirement of a completed LearnTrack, clicking the link will access the appropriate LearnTrack screen in the Learning Plan or Achievement Record.
Note: You cannot launch a course from the Featured Learning list.
In Admin mode, you designate those courses and LearnTracks you want as featured learning activities. You can also specify the order in which you want the courses to appear. You can manually remove the learning activities from being featured at any time.
