Assuming that you are in Admin mode and have accessed a course shell from the Course Search, or Add a New Course within the Courses main menu, follow the next configuration steps to set up your course correctly for use with online content:
Course Basics
1. Make sure the Course Basics left-hand side menu item is selected.
2. Use the Instructional Media drop-down list to select one of the following media types for online courses:
· Online
· Blended Online
· Online Assessment
These are the only media types which will display the Course Content left-hand side menu.
Session Basics
1. Make sure that Session Basics is selected from the left-hand side menu.
2. Use the Select Online Type drop-down list to select the type of online content you want to upload.
3. Check the Launch in E-Classroom box if you want the course to launch in the E-Classroom.
4. Complete other fields as needed.
5. Save your changes.
Course Content
1. Make sure the Course Content left-hand side menu item is selected.
2. Use the Session Code drop-down list to select the session you want to upload online content to.
Note: There must be at least one session available in your course.
3. Select the Upload New Content button and click Submit.
4. Use the Online Type drop-down list to select the type of content you want to upload.
5. Complete the other fields in this screen.
6. Click Save and Upload.
