Viewing the Learner Details Report

Introduction

Use this report to:

·        View information about each of the students in the course.

·        View and edit their grades.

·        Register additional users into a selected course.

·        View and print the class roster to mark attendance.

Procedure

1.      From the Courses menu, select Course Instruction.

The Course Instruction screen is displayed.

2.      Under the Student List column, click the button of the course whose learners you want to view.

Learner Detail Report

This screen displays information about the course and the students in it. Specifically, the following information is displayed:

·        Course Name – Course Code: Displays the name and unique identifier of the course.

·        Instructional Media: Indicates how the course will be taught (online, instructor-led, and so on).

·        Trainer: Indicates the course instructors assigned to session (those not selected from booked resource).

·        Schedule: Indicates the region and location where the session or workshop will be taught, its date, and start and end times.

·        Total Number of Classes: Indicates the number of session times or workshops.

Regarding the students in the class, the following columns of information are displayed:

·        Allow Launch: Check this box to allow a user to launch a course.  

Note: This column is displayed when the Restrict Course Launch box is checked when editing session details.

·        Name (link): Displays the name of the user in the session.

·        Business Unit: Displays the business to which the user belongs.

·        User Status: Displays the user’s status in the course.

·        Email Address: Displays the user’s email address.

·        Phone Number: Displays the user’s phone number.

·        Score: If the user took a test, displays their score.

3.      You can perform the following operations from this screen:

·        Click Register More Users to add more users into the selected course.

Note: This button is displayed when security setting 768: Register More Users is enabled.

·        Check the Allow Launch box to allow the selected user to launch the course.

·        Click a Name link to view the user’s transcript and edit their grades.

·        Click a Score link to view and edit the user’s grades in their profile’s Grades Administration screen.

Note: When security setting 757: Restrict Instructor Grading is enabled for your security group, the Score links are disabled. You will be allowed to grade the tests of only those students you are assigned to instruct.

·        Click Custom Report to view additional details about transcript and grades.

Note: This link is displayed when security setting 717: Allow Instructors to Print this Report is enabled.

·        Click Printable Version to print the report.

·        Click Microsoft Excel to export the information to Microsoft Excel.

4.      In the Class Roster section:

·        In the New Students field, enter the number of additional lines you want available on the printed class roster to account for new students.

·        Use the Signatures drop-down list to select the number of additional lines (to a maximum of 3) you want to be available on the printed class roster for each student's signature.

·        Click Print to print the class roster for marking attendance. Any additional lines specified through either the New Students or Signatures values will be added to your list.

Note: This section is displayed only for blended online courses when security setting 806: Class Roster is enabled.
