Introduction
This feature gives clients more power in filtering course registration to specific individuals based on their business unit membership. Administrators have the ability to associate products to business units, filter course registration based on products similar to filtering course registration based on job position. Courses may be tied to specific product lines.
Users are allowed to see courses and register for courses based on their business unit to product line relationship.
Procedure
1. From the Courses menu, click Add New Course.
The Course Basics screen is displayed.
2. Select Product Lines.
Note: This left-hand side menu is displayed when 1) At least one a product line was created in Product Lines module, and 2) Security setting 216: Product Lines is enabled.

3. Use the Product Lines list to select one or more product lines that you want to associate with this course.
4. Check the Enforce Product Lines box if you want to enforce product lines.
If checked, then only those learners in business units associated with the selected product lines will be allowed to register in this course. In User mode, learners will not be able to see this course when searching for courses in which to register. In Admin mode, the user will have the status of Product Line Conflict.
5. Click Save to keep your changes.
