Grade Summary Report

Introduction

This report provides a summary of the average mark, highest mark, lowest mark, and the number of students who have completed a course.

Note: The link to this report is displayed when security setting 186: Grade is enabled.

Note: Percentage grades on this screen are displayed according to the global grade precision setting.

Procedure

1.      From the Reports menu, select Standard, then Summary Reports.

2.      Click the Grade link.

The following screen is displayed:

Grade Summary Report - Search

3.      Use the Date Range - Start Date and End Date drop-down lists to specify the date range of your report results.

4.      Use the Curriculum Group list box to select one or more curriculum groups you want to include in the report.

The default selection includes all curriculum groups.

5.      Use the Instructor list box to select one or more instructors you want to include in the report.

The default selection includes all instructors.

6.      Use the Instructional Media box to select one or more instructional media types you want to include in the report.

The default selection includes all instructional media types.

7.      Use the Grade Type drop-down list to filter your results by grade type.

8.      Use the User Status drop-down list to filter to include all users in your results, only active users, or only inactive users.

9.      Click Submit.

Grade Summary Report Results

This screen displays the results of your report. The following rows of information are displayed:

·        Course Title - Course Code: Displays the title and code of the course whose details you are viewing.

·        Instructors: Displays the name of the instructors who taught the selected course.  

·        Average Mark: Displays the average ark for the selected course.  

·        Highest Mark: Displays the highest mark obtained in the course.  

·        Lowest Mark: Displays the lowest mark obtained in the course.

·        Completions: Displays the number of students who completed the course.

10.  You can perform the following operations from this screen:

·        Click Printable Version to view a version of the report that you can print.

·        Click Microsoft Excel to export your results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
