Creating a New Inquiry Type

Introduction

Inquiry types define the types and direction of questions and comments learners can submit.

The following inquiry types are available by default:

·        Password

·        Licence key

·        Issue with course

·        Course feedback

·        Course completion

·        LearnTrack issue

·        Other

Note: These inquiry types populate additional fields on the Contact Us form in User Mode. While the labels for them can be changed from the user interface in Admin Mode, it is not advisable to do so.

 

Procedure

1.      From the Presentation menu, select Contact Us from the left-hand side menu.

The Contact Us Configuration screen is displayed.

2.      From the first drop-down list, select Active Inquiry Types to indicate that the new inquiry type will be active upon saving, or Inactive Inquiry Types to indicate that it will be inactive upon saving.

3.      Click Add.

4.      In the Inquiry Type Name field, enter a name for the inquiry type.

5.      In the Email Address(es) field, enter the email addresses inquiries of this type will be directed to upon submission.

6.      Click Save.
