Course Usage Report

Introduction

This report returns the number of users and average mark in a given course.

Note: The link to this report is displayed when security setting 62: Course Usage Report is enabled.

Procedure

1.      From the Reports menu, select Standard, then Advanced Reports.

2.      Click the Course Usage Report link.

The following screen is displayed:

3.      Use the Date Range - Start Date and End Date drop-down lists to specify the date range of your report results.

4.      Use the Curriculum Group drop-down list to select the curriculum group you want to include in the report.

5.      Use the Subject Area drop-down list to select the subject area you want to include in the report.

6.      Use the Region drop-down list to select the region you want to include in the report.

7.      Use the Course Status drop-down list to select the course status you want to include in the report. The options are:

·        All: Select this to return information about courses in all statuses.

·        Unpublish: Select this to return information only about courses that are unpublished.

·        Publish: Select this to return information only about courses that are published.

8.      Use the Instructional Media list box to filter the results by one or more instructional media types.

9.      Use the Delivery Providers drop-down list to select the delivery provider you want to include in the report.

10.  Click Submit.

Course Usage Report Results

This screen displays the results of your report. The following columns of information are displayed:

·        Course Name - Course Code: Displays the name and code of the course whose usage you are viewing.

·        Start Date: Displays the day when the course started.  

·        Start Time: Displays the time of day when the course started.

·        End Date: Displays the day when the course is scheduled to end.  

·        Location: Indicates the location where the course is being held.

·        Room: Indicates the room where the course is being held.

·        1st Day Trainer(s): Indicates the name of the trainer who is scheduled to teach the first day of class.

·        # of Users: Indicates the numbers of users registered in the course.

·        Average Mark: Indicates the average mark in the class.

11.  You can perform the following operations from this screen:

·        Click Printable Version to view a version of the report that you can print.

·        Click Microsoft Excel to export your results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
