This is the page in LearnFlex that determines how security is governed in the application. This is achieved through cohort types and cohorts, which are types and groups of users respectively.
A “cohort” refers to a group of people who share the same security access—what buttons and menus users can see and select. We want course administrators to be able to see and do more than learners, for example. Creating a cohort requires the creation of a cohort type and a name for each cohort. A cohort type is a general category (for example, Training Department); a cohort name is a specific role (for example, LMS administrator, manager, instructor, and so on).
